CAMME’s newest chapter.

In late 2016, with the generous support of Books for Eastern Congo, CAMME opened a library open to all children. With 2,000+ books (and more coming in all the time), kids at CAMME and YIA have the chance to learn about history, language, geography, or simply discover a good story. Following training in March 2017, trained librarians staff the center, guiding young minds in new journeys each and every day.

Our library continues to grow, and we’re always looking for opportunities to expand. Do you have a collection of books, magazines, or newspapers you no longer need or want, that you think kids at CAMME and YIA might like? Let us know here! We’re always on the lookout for books in French, Swahili or English, with any kid-friendly materials being welcome.
