CAMME takes your privacy seriously and will only use your personal information to manage donations and receipts, inquiries, and volunteer opportunities.
Forms and Donations
When you donate or submit a question or comment through our contact pages we collect your first name, last name (only when provided) your email address and other contact details so that we can correspond with you. Your personal data will not only be stored in the website’s database but also in Mailchimp, the application we use to send our newsletters.
Emails will also be sent through Gmail, where they will be stored until you request deletion. You can view, update, download or delete your personal data at any time from this page: GDPR – Request personal data.
We manage your donation information through PayPal and CommitChange, both of which are GDPR-compliant. Although these are the only products we use at the moment, this may change over time.
Google Analytics
We use Google Analytics to track visitors on this site. Google Analytics uses cookies to collect this data. In order to be compliant with the new regulation Google included a data processing amendment. The data we collect will be processed anonymously and “Data sharing” is disabled. We don’t use other Google services in combination with Google Analytics cookies.
Mailchimp
We use Mailchimp for our newsletter campaigns. MailChimp is the world’s largest marketing automation platform and is GDPR compliant. They have a campaign builder that makes it easy to create email templates.
